Our History

Our story began in 1995 with the establishment of our Montmorency office.
We've since grown into a two branch practice, with a new office opened in Doreen.
From the start, C & H has focused on hiring highly-qualified, down-to-earth accountants who are good at what they do.

Our Team

Charles Hesse, Principal

Charles established C & H Accounting Group in 1995.
He's got a Masters in taxation, is a registered company auditor and CPA with over 20 years experience in public accounting. His bread and butter is working with companies, trusts, super and individuals on tax compliance and planning. You won't find many people more qualified to save you money on your next tax bill. Outside of work, Charles is a proud father of three, likes to cycle and loves Australian Rules Football.

Paddy Cummins, Accountant

Started: 2005

Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce, CPA
Skills: Small Business, SMSF, SMSF Audits and Individuals
Outside Work: Paddy enjoys spending time with her two kids and long distance running.                                           

Nicole Brown, Accountant

Skills: Accounting for small businesses and taxation for a wide variety of clients including individuals, various investment structures and businesses.
Outside Work: Nicole enjoys travelling, and has recently joined a bushwalking club and started kayaking with her family. With her husband, Nicole is a keen renovator, and runs a free Uber service for their two teenagers.
